Bardia National Park is the largest Park situated in the lowlands of the Terai, covering 986kms. This is home to one of the largest population of the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, the biggest Asian Tusker and the one-horned rhinoceros. It also boasts of over 400 species of birds, blackbucks, leopards, swamp deer's and other endangered species. Gharial and marsh crocodiles cavort in the river.
